Ongoing ‘CNI Koshi Expo’ in Biratnagar ending today, ‘The Edge Band’ to perform in the evening

BIRATNAGAR: The ‘CNI Koshi Expo 2079,’ which began on Feb 2 under the auspices of the Confederation of Nepal Industry (CNI) State 1, concludes today.

The 10-day expo is about to come to an end.

According to the organizer, the international level expo scheduled for Shankarpur Marg in Biratnagar-2 will be a huge success.

The closing ceremony of the expo is expected to be as memorable as the opening. The expo featured 370 stalls.

It is said that CNI has also got a good opportunity in observing and buying and selling domestic and foreign products and goods.

According to Bhim Ghimire, Chair of CNI State 1, the role of CNI Koshi Expo is critical in keeping economic activities running and saving the industry during a time when the country is in an economic crisis.

From main sponsors to minor sponsors, he claimed that Biratnagar Metropolitan Corporation, Sunsari’s Duhabi Municipality, Morang’s Budhiganga, and Kathari Rural Municipality, all of which play a role in promotion, have provided unparalleled support to entrepreneurs at the local level in product promotion.

According to the goal of making Expo historic, the campaign to begin economic prosperity from State 1, Everest, was also successful, he said.

Apart from Nepal, industrialists from India, Bangladesh, and Pakistan showcased their products to Nepali consumers at the expo.

Chair Ghimire stated that the role of the State 1 government, various ministries, and agencies has become critical for CNI State 1 to help make the Expo a success. According to the organizer, Hikmat Kumar Karki, Chief Minister of State 1 will close the Expo on Saturday at 3 p.m.

Similarly, Chair Ghimire said that special personalities such as Minister of General Administration of the Federal Government Amanlal Modi, Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizens Bhagwati Chaudhary will be among the guests.

The CNI State Committee has made significant preparations for the end.

The best stalls in the expo, according to the evaluation committee, will be honored at the closing ceremony.

Throughout the Expo, CNI provided free tickets to senior citizens. It is said to have continued even after the end.

The entry fee for other age groups will be revised and set earlier.

Tickets can be purchased for 100 rupees until 6:30 p.m., according to the website.

Following that, it is expected to cost 200 rupees.

Cultural and entertainment programs are arranged following the closing ceremony.

The popular band ‘The Edge Band’ will perform on Saturday evening.
