Meeting of high level political mechanism continued in Baluwatar

KATHMANDU: The meeting of the high-level political mechanism for running the government continues.

The meeting started a few moments ago at the Prime Minister’s residence, Baluwatar.

Only a few days ago, the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) led by Rabi Lamichhane recalled its ministers from the government, while the CPN-UML-led government formed with the support of the ruling coalition in Sudurpaschim failed to receive a vote of confidence on Thursday. These issues will be discussed in today’s meeting.

In addition, it is said that the meeting will discuss the presidential election and the differences in the coalition.

The Election Commission has set the presidential election date on March 9.
