Karnali & Bagmati govt announces to give holiday on ‘People’s War Day’

KATHMANDU: Governments of Karnali and Bagmati States have decided to give public holidays on ‘People’s War Day’.

The cabinet meeting of the Bagmati State government held on Feb 7 has decided to give a holiday on Feb 13 on the occasion of People’s War Day.

Bagmati State, Interior Affairs and Ministry of Law Spokesman Anushil Sapkota said in a notice, ‘On the occasion of People’s War Day, on Monday, 2079 Feb 13, it has been decided to give a public holiday throughout Bagmati State, this notice has been published for the information of all concerned.’

Earlier, the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Karnali State held on Feb 6 had also decided to give a public holiday throughout the state on the ‘People’s War Day’.
