CNI Expo: Sameer Shrestha performing today, audience to increase
Local band 'Shubham and the Band' is also expected to perform on Friday evening.
BIRATNAGAR: This evening, Sameer Shrestha will perform at CNI Koshi Expo on Biratnagar-2 Shankarpur Marg.
Shrestha’s lyrics, who made a name for himself in ‘lifestyle’ pop melody, are such that they reach the young generation’s hearts. His most recent example is his song ‘Mayalu Sunana,’ which was released just a day ago.
On YouTube, this song is currently in the top ten. The song has been viewed by over 1.7 million people. He released the song ‘Hera Na’ three months ago, and it has received 9.3 million views so far.
‘Kuri Basechu, Mero Maan, Char Diwar, Manaka Kura, Aaja Kina, Maya Ta Maya Ho, Kurakani’ is one of his most well-known songs.
Local band ‘Shubham and the Band’ is also expected to perform on Friday evening. The ticket price has been set at Rs 100 only when purchased at the Expo before 6:30 p.m. Tickets for students in classes below 9 will cost 50 rupees.
The audience’s interest has grown as the expo nears its conclusion. According to Bhim Ghimire, Chair of CNI State 1, over 30,000 people attended the fair on a single day.
On a recent day, more than 30,000 spectators gathered, he said, adding that because it is a historical fair, the number of people who come to buy goods in the evening is also high.
