President addressing joint meeting of Federal Parliament this afternoon
A joint meeting of both houses of Parliament will be held at 3 pm.

KATHMANDU: The Federal Parliament House of Representatives is meeting today. The meeting will take place at the Parliament House in New Baneshwor between 3 and 5 p.m., according to the Parliament Secretariat.

President Bidya Devi Bhandari is scheduled to address at the meeting.
The second meeting of the Parliament is scheduled for 5 p.m. The Speaker will read out the letter received from the President’s office regarding the increase in workload at today’s second meeting, and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ will table a possible agenda for the President’s address to the joint meeting of the first session of the Federal Parliament on 2079 Magh 27.
The speaker will present a motion of thanks for the speech of the President, table the bill with messages received from the National Assembly regarding the ‘Monitoring and Evaluation Bill, 2076’, the ‘Record Preservation (First Amendment) Bill, 2077’ and the ‘Food Hygiene and Quality Bill, 2077’.
