Let’s implement what the constitution says first, it gives results: PM Dahal

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that what the constitution says should be implemented.

He said this during a presentation of preliminary findings from a study on improving Nepal’s electoral system and management process conducted by the Policy Research Institute and the Election Commission.

‘First, let us implement what the constitution says,’ he said. Let’s take a look at the outcomes. The constitution should not be blamed if the provisions of the constitution are not implemented.’

He also stated that as the political system and the constitution are for the people’s benefit, the constitution should be faithfully implemented.
