Man arrested for raping a minor in Rupandehi

KATHMANDU: Police arrested 36-year-old Mohan Gurung of Devdaha Municipality-7 Shitalnagar, Rupandehi on the charge of raping a 16-year-old minor girl on Tuesday afternoon.

On the basis of a complaint that Gurung raped the girl last Friday night at a hotel in Devdaha Municipality-7 Dhekar, the police stationed at Khaireni police station arrested him.

The police are conducting necessary investigations in this regard.
