President & NC to win in Chitwan 2: Dr. Shekhar Koirala

KATHMANDU: Dr. Shekhar Koirala, a central member of the Nepali Congress, has said that the Congress candidate will be elected President and Chitwan Constituency No. 2.

He made the remarks on Tuesday, during the first session of the Nepal Press Union Bagmati State in Sauraha.

He stated that the ruling party claims that the Congress cheated in selecting a candidate for the presidential election.

Similarly, he stated that even if Chitwan 2 does not have representatives, the Nepali Congress will provide representatives and guardians.

After Rabi Lamichhane’s MP seat was revoked due to a citizenship dispute, by-elections are set to be held here.

He urged voters to vote confidently for the Congress candidate.
