Child drowns in Aurahi River

KATHMANDU: Nirpesh Subedi, 17, of Bardiya, Thakurbaba Municipality-2 Sujanpur drowned in the Aurahi River of the same municiplaity on Monday afternoon.

As soon as the news was received that he had drowned while bathing in the river, the police stationed from Bhurigaon, district police office found his body while searching.

The police are investigating further in this regard.
