Weather: These states have the possibility of rain & snowfall

KATHMANDU: Due to the general influence of western winds in Nepal, there is a possibility of snowfall in some States today, according to meteorologists.

There is a possibility of snowfall today in the high mountains and Himalayan regions of various States.

There is a partial change in the country’s hilly areas in the morning. The rest of the country’s weather is generally clear. There is now fog in some areas of the Terai.

According to the Department of Water and Meteorology, there will be light to moderate rain in the afternoon in the country’s hilly areas. The rest of the country will see partly cloudy skies and generally clear skies.

Light snowfall is possible in a few places in high hilly and Himalayan areas of State 1, Bagmati, Gandaki State, and Karnali State, according to the department.

At night, it will be partly cloudy in the hilly areas of the country. In the rest of the land, the weather will be generally clear.

The department has informed that there is a possibility of light snowfall at one or two places in high hilly and Himalayan areas of State 1, Bagmati, Gandaki State and Karnali State.

Due to the possibility of light snowfall in some places of the highlands and Himalayan areas and early morning storms in the Terai areas, the daily life of the people may be affected, the department urges to take necessary precautions.
