Cyclist dies after falling from bridge into river

SURKHET: One person died in a bicycle accident in Birendranagar, Surkhet.

Suraj Karki, DSP, District Police Office, Surkhet, stated that a person riding a bicycle died on the spot on Monday morning in an accident on Gaurikhola Bridge in Birendranagar 1.

According to witnesses, he and his bicycle fell from the bridge into the river.

Police have arrived on the scene and are conducting further investigation.
