Father & daughter found dead in Old Baneshwor of Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: Two people have been found dead in OldBaneshwor of Kathmandu.
Kishor Bhandari, 42, and his 7-year-old daughter from Ramechhap house were discovered dead.
According to Baneshwor Police Circle DSP Nishan Sri Vastav, the bodies of two people were discovered at 6 p.m. on Saturday, and preliminary investigation indicates that Bhandari’s daughter was stabbed. Father Kishore was discovered hanging.
Investigation officers of Nepal Police say that it is suspected that he may have committed suicide after killing his daughter. The daughter was physically disabled.
Similarly, the police discovered a suicide note at the scene. Various topics, including financial problems, are mentioned by the police.
Kishor was running a pharmacy, the police also called a team of forensic experts from the University Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj to the spot to investigate the incident.
The incident is thought to have occurred around 3/4 pm. A family of four was living in the house, but two others were out on Saturday.
According to police, an additional investigation is underway.
