NC to discuss with other parties for election of Vice-Chair of NA
The meeting held at Dhumbarahi, the residence of party President Sher Bahadur Deuba, also decided to discuss with the opposition alliance CPN Unified Socialist Party, LSP and the National People's Front and other parties involved in the ruling coalition.
KATHMANDU: The main opposition party Nepali Congress is going to discuss with other political parties regarding the election of the vice chair of the National Assembly.
The Congress Chief Whip Ramesh Lekhak informed that the meeting held today of the Congress Parliamentary Party Working Committee has decided to proceed with discussions and consultations with the parties in the opposition alliance and other political parties of the ruling coalition for the election.
The meeting held at Dhumbarahi, the residence of party President Sher Bahadur Deuba, also decided to discuss with the opposition alliance CPN Unified Socialist Party, LSP and the National People’s Front and other parties involved in the ruling coalition.
The Chief Whip writer informed that it was decided to hold the meeting of the Congress Parliamentary Party on Feb 9 at 1 PM in the Lhotse Hall of the Parliament Building.
He said that the party is also making internal preparations for the presidential election. The election of the vice president of the National Assembly will be held on Feb 6.
