Maoist Centre standing committee meeting halts

KATHMANDU: The meeting of the CPN Maoist Centre’s Standing Committee has been rescheduled. The meeting scheduled for today has been rescheduled due to insufficient preparation.

The meeting has been rescheduled for tomorrow, according to General Secretary Dev Gurung.

According to him, the meeting had to be rescheduled due to a lack of necessary preparations and the busy schedule of party president and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’.

The Maoist Center convened a standing committee meeting to discuss the division of duties among party leaders, changes in responsibilities, the party’s role in government, and other issues.
