Weather: Changes in these states, rain & snowfall

KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division reports that there is a general effect of western wind in Nepal right now.

As a result, there is currently a partial change in state one as well as in the country’s hilly areas.

The weather will be mostly clear in the afternoon in the hilly areas of State 1, Bagmati, and Gandaki, while the rest of the area will be partly cloudy.

There is a chance of light snowfall in one or two places in these three states’ Himalayan areas. This process will continue through the night.

The department has requested that precautions be taken because there is a possibility of light snowfall in a few places in the country’s Himalayan areas, as well as light rain in some places in the Terai in the morning.
