E-Ticket at Narayanhiti Museum from today
The e-ticketing service will be launched by Suresh Adhikari, secretary of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation.
KATHMANDU: The Narayanhiti Museum and Narayanhiti Durbar Museum Republic Monument Management and Development Committee will begin selling e-tickets on Tuesday.
On the occasion of the museum’s 14th and 15th years of existence, an e-ticketing service is about to be launched.
Purushottam Thapa, the museum’s information officer, announced that an e-ticketing service will be launched as part of the museum’s plan to go paperless.
According to the committee, it has been planned for the systematic sale and distribution of tickets, as well as the convenience of the spectators.
The e-ticketing service will be launched by Suresh Adhikari, secretary of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation.
All of the museum’s former directors will be present at the program, which will be held today, Tuesday afternoon, to commemorate the museum’s founding day.
Approximately 45 lakh people have visited the Narayanhiti Museum in the 15 years since it opened. From 2065 to 076, 33 lakh 99 thousand 231 observations were made.
Purushottam Thapa, the Museum and Republic Memorial Development Committee’s Information Officer, stated that approximately 1 million people visited the museum in the previous three years. So far, the majority of visitors have been Nepalis.
