KATHMANDU: An interaction program was held to interact with potential Investors and enthusiast in the city of Sydney, Australia today.

Mr. Mekh Bahadur Thapa, Deputy CEO of NIBL Ace Capital Limited, facilitated the program, which was attended by Mr. Anil Pokhrel, CPA, National Treasurer NRNA Australia. Mr Raju Pokhrel and Mr. Dipendra Panta coordinated the program, which included participants from the NRN and the CA/CPA groups who live in Sydney.

Mr. Thapa highlighted various aspects of the Nepalese economy and capital market, as well as investment opportunities, to participants and other enthusiasts representing the Nepalese community during the program. Mr Thapa also discussed ongoing digital reforms and other recent developments in Nepal’s capital market.

Mr. Anil Pokharel emphasized on the NRN initiative of citizenship issue that they have long demanded free investment and other rights other than political rights.

He also expressed concern about the repatriation of funds as well as income from investments when necessary.

The participants were overwhelmed by Mr. Thapa’s initiative to communicate the prospects and opportunities of the Nepalese capital market in Sydney, where the participants were briefed on the opportunities and challenges of investing in the Nepalese capital market through various instruments and investment vehicles.
