Tourism Minister Kirati’s request not to charter helicopters on loan

KATHMANDU: Tourism Minister Sudan Kirati, who has received a lot of attention in the media with the praise of the work done recently, has requested not to charter helicopters except for essential work.

Minister Kirati said that social luxuries should be ended.

Minister Kirati has written on social media, ‘We have adopted a policy of not flying helicopters during our tenure except for national calamities and essential work. Even though people have chartered helicopters for social programs in different parts of the country, we have not sung in many programs till date. I apologize to you for that. Everyone is requested not to charter a helicopter on loan. If the last minister comes to your village, milk will not flow in your rivers and gold will not grow in the soil. Let’s look at the throat and swallow the bone, let’s end social appearances and luxury. Thank you.’
