Statue of actor Jayananda Lama in Bahrabise

KATHMANDU: The late singer, musician, and artist Jayananda Lama’s statue was built in Sindhupalchowk’s Bahrabise Municipality-3 Dharpa Thingtole.

Lama was well-known for writing original folk songs.

He also played a lively character in a number of Nepali films.

Many of his songs, including “Kalkatte Kaiyo,” are well-known.

The audience enjoyed the film in which he starred.
