Kaski: Ward Chair Ram Bahadur Gurung assaulted employee
A police report has been filed alleging that Gurung punched Assistant Sub-Engineer Laxman GC, who works in the ward.

POKHARA: Ram Bahadur Gurung, Ward Chair of Machhapuchhre Rural Municipality-8 of Kaski, assaulted the employees.
A police report has been filed alleging that Gurung punched Assistant Sub-Engineer Laxman GC, who works in the ward.
Gyan Bahadur Khadka, the information officer, informed that GC had filed a complaint with the Kaski police, demanding action against the Ward Chair who had beaten him up.
Gurung allegedly punched GC for failing to do what the Ward Chair had asked him to do. Ward Chair Gurung, on the other hand, claims that it was only a push during the conversation.

The employees’ union issued a joint statement in response to the beating of GC.
Ward president Ram Gurung asserted that despite repeated requests, the state did not prepare the cost of the Lawang village homestay, which was provided as a subsidy.
GC became ‘aggressive’ on Friday morning, claiming he was defending himself after someone attempted to hit him with the helmet.
‘He never comes to work on time and never does what he says. Even if he arrives early today, how will the village function if the technician does not work? Am I not to blame?’ “He became aggressive and thought he was about to throw his helmet and pushed me while doing the same thing this morning,” Gurung said.
