EBL inaugurates solar bus stand at Toukhel Lalitpur
Sanu Raj Ghimire, Ward Chair of Lalitpur Metropolitan City Ward No. 3, and Bijay Kumar Sharma, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Everest Bank, jointly inaugurated the solar bus stand.

KATHMANDU: Everest Bank Limited has inaugurated a solar bus stand built in joint partnership with that ward at Toukhel of Ward No. 3 of Lalitpur Metropolitan Municipality.
As part of its corporate social responsibility, the bank dedicated a solar bus stop built in collaboration with this ward.
Sanu Raj Ghimire, Ward Chair of Lalitpur Metropolitan City Ward No. 3, and Bijay Kumar Sharma, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Everest Bank, jointly inaugurated the solar bus stand.
The program featured Deputy General Manager Gaurav Kumar, Head of Market and Institutional Deposit Department Pushpa Raj Upreti, Branch Manager of the bank’s Toukhel branch Pritam Karmacharya, and other distinguished guests.
Bijay Kumar Sharma, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the bank, expressed his belief at the opening ceremony that the newly constructed solar bus stand will make the local residents of Lalitpur Metropolitan City Ward No. 3 Toukhel more comfortable and will also help to develop the Toukhel area as a smart city.
So far, this bank has more than 1.3 million satisfied customers and has been providing state-of-the-art mobile and Internet SMS banking facilities through its global network of 124 branches, 3 extension counters, 7 regional offices, 160 ATMs spread across the country.
This bank has also been providing services from 32 collection centers for the revenue collection of the Government of Nepal.
