Govt given priority to technical education: Minister Sharma
She believes that the government's policy of earning and studying should be implemented as Nepal's education costs rise.

KATHMANDU: Communication and Information Technology Minister Rekha Sharma has said that the government has prioritized technical education to produce skilled manpower in the country.
On the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) on Friday, she stated that the government has prioritized technical education in the budget and that technical education is also included in the minimum common program.
She believes that the government’s policy of earning and studying should be implemented as Nepal’s education costs rise.
Minister Sharma stated that the government is currently prioritizing the Education Act and the Civil Act, and that the government is preparing to introduce a new Education Act.
At the event, CTEVT’s best employees received awards and honors.
