KATHMANDU: The meeting of the four political parties in Baluwatar to discuss the presidential election has concluded.
General Minister Gagan Thapa said that various options were discussed in the meeting.
Thapa stated that the four parties will now hold a joint meeting at 5 p.m. after discussing in their respective parties.
According to one of the meeting participants, it was decided that the Vice Chair JSP would receive it.
According to the agreement reached at the four-party meeting, the four parties are ready to give JSP the position of vice president.
The leader said, ‘It has been decided that JSP will get the vice president.’
On the other hand, another leader who was present at the meeting said that Ramchandra Paudel and Madhav Nepal were discussed about the President, ‘It is true that Madhav Nepal and Ram Chandra Paudel were discussed. But there have also been talks of giving the President to the Congress and giving the Prime Minister to Nepal for 1 year. Since Congress is a big party, it can be divided into President and Prime Minister for one year. If this happens, the alliance will also agree. The Prime Minister also agrees with this. Now a decision will be made by the evening after discussion in the party.
