POKHARA: Businessmen of Pokhara and Lekhnath have taken to the streets against banks and financial institutions.

They protested, claiming that the banks were inflicting unnecessary torture and foreclosing on loan payments.

On Thursday, the Pokhara Industry and Commerce Association organized a street exhibition in Chipledhunga.

The Industry and Commerce Union was represented by 149 different organizations in the street movement.

Chair Pawan Prajapati stated that banks should immediately revise the loan schedule and provide relief to business owners.
