Report of Commission on Bal Mandir should be made public: Sumana Shrestha

KATHMANDU: Sumana Shrestha, MP of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has demanded to make public the report of the high-level inquiry commission on the Nepal Bal Mandir.

She made such a demand while speaking at the House of Representatives meeting on Wednesday.

She said, ‘In 2018, the Nepal Children’s Organization was entrusted to take care of orphaned children by trespassing on private property. It has been said that 28 ropani land of Bal Mandir alone has been given to eminent persons and families by the officials there for personal enjoyment. The report of the commission formed to investigate this matter should be made public immediately by the government. When will we make that report public?’
