22 people lost their lives when Lamahi Ghorahi-Tulsipur road was not built: MP Giri

KATHMANDU: MP Deepak Giri of Dang Constituency No. 3 has said that 22 people lost their lives when Lamahi-Ghorahi-Tulsipur road was not built on time.

He said this while speaking during a special session of the House of Representatives on Wednesday.

He said that the road department and the government should answer as the agreement was that the road would be completed in 30 months, but the deadline was extended 3 times and it has not been completed even after 4 years.

He said that the road becomes slippery during rains and is a problem when it is muddy in winter.
