Property worth 1 million gutted in Taplejung fire

KATHMANDU: Surendra Limbu, a resident of Limbudin’s Sidingba Rural Municipality-5, had an electrical short on Monday night, which resulted in a fire.

Cash, grain, clothing, kitchen utensils, and other items were burned, and property worth approximately 1 million rupees was destroyed.

The police used the assistance of local residents to put out the fire and are conducting further investigations.
