Son killed mother with an axe

KATHMANDU: The son in Kailali murdered his mother with an axe.

Sriram Tharu of Lamki Chuha Municipality-6 Bagmara attacked his mother Lagni Tharuni with an axe on Monday night.

Spokesman of District Police Office Ved Prakash Joshi informed that she was seriously injured and died during treatment at Navjeevan Hospital in Dhangadhi.

Sriram, who was involved in the incident, was arrested by temporary police post Chuha from Deurali Community Forest.
