Nepal Eye Association provided free eye examinations to 2,868 students in Nepalgunj
The free school eye examination camp program, which was funded by the Nepal Government, was completed in four community schools in Nepalgunj Metropolitan City.
KATHMANDU: 2,868 students from four different Banke schools were examined for free as part of the Nepal Eye Association Fattewal Eye Hospital Nepalgunj project.

400 students of Fultekra Secondary School, 404 students of Mahendra Secondary School, 214 students of Yudh Sanskrit Secondary School and 1,850 students of Dhambojhi Secondary School were given free eye check-up, informed Umar Sadiq, head of external program of the hospital.
According to Sadiq, free glasses were also distributed to 71 students who had vision problems among the students who were examined.
To ensure that students who go to school do not have any difficulties due to eye problems, the association visits the school on a regular basis to check the students’ eyes and distributes free glasses to students who have vision problems.
Various hospitals run by Nepal Eye Association have been holding free eye treatment and surgery camps across the country in collaboration with other organizations.
Nepal Eye Association currently runs 27 eye hospitals and over 150 eye treatment centers throughout the country. The association has been providing eye treatment services to citizens in every district of the country through eye hospitals, treatment centers, and various eye camps.
