US Deputy Foreign Minister meets with PM Prachanda

KATHMANDU: Victoria Nuland, the US Deputy Secretary of State for Political Affairs, met with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda.

Nuland arrived in Kathmandu on Sunday for a two-day visit and met with Prime Minister Prachanda at the Prime Minister’s residence Baluwatar on Monday morning.

According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, issues of mutual cooperation, including the improvement of relations between the two countries, were discussed during the meeting.

According to the American Embassy in Kathmandu, Nuland will attend high-level meetings and learn about Nepal’s unique cultural heritage during his visit.
