One held on rape charge, another absconding

KATHMANDU: Santosh Yadav, 24, of Siraha municipality-22, was arrested on charge of raping a 14-year-old minor girl.

Based on a complaint that Santosh Yadav and Saroj Kumar Yadav, both 23, had fled from a house in Siraha Municipality-7, the police deputed from the District Police Office Siraha arrested Santosh Yadav & among them.

Aside from looking for Saroj Kumar Yadav, who is currently absconding, the police are conducting the necessary investigations.
