Thulung Dudhkoshi’s Chair to support poor student for MBBS study

KATHMANDU: Chairperson of Thulung Dudhkoshi Rural Municipality in Solukhumbu district Ashim Rai has announced to provide financial assistance to a student from the rural municipality to pursue an MBBS degree.

Rai would support the financially-poor and brilliant student for the MBBS study from the salary and perks that he draws from the rural municipality.

Chairperson Rai made the decision after his election to the post for the second term.

Issuing a notice on Thursday, Chairperson Rai has called for the needy students to apply for scholarships.

Rai has urged the students, who have passed the entrance exam, to submit their application within 15 days to commence the MBBS course by acquiring scholarship.
