CNI Kosi Expo taking place from Feb 2 in Biratnagar
Visitors to the expo will see the landforms of the Terai from mountains to mountains and learn about Nepal's geographical and cultural diversity.

BIRATNAGAR: Mount Everest, the world’s highest mountain, and the Kechana Cable, Nepal’s lowest place, will be on display at the CNI Kosi Expo 2079, which will be held in Biratnagar from Feb 2 at the initiative of the Confederation of Nepal Industry (CNI) State 1.
According to reports, this will be shown with the goal of informing viewers about the geographical, ethnic, and cultural diversity of State 1 through the expo. The construction of those structures has already begun at the expo site.
Bhim Ghimire, Chair of CNI State 1, visitors to the expo will see the landforms of the Terai from mountains to mountains and learn about Nepal’s geographical and cultural diversity.
The Expo preparations in Biratnagar Metropolitan City-2 Shankarpur have been stepped up. The expo site is still being built and structures are being installed.
It is said that the construction of structures such as selfie bridge over Kosi River, traditional houses of Tharu and Jhangad have also been started for the entertainment of the visitors at the expo which is going to be organized historically.
Rajendra Rathi, Coordinator of the Expo Organizing Committee, it has been confirmed that famous Nepalese bands will perform at the Expo. Daily performances will include Sabin Rai and his Pharoah Band, Raju Lama’s Mongolian Heart Band, Abhaya Subba’s Stream Engines, Ekdev Limbu, Nitesh Jung Kunwar and his band, Samir Shrestha, Aashish Guvaju’s acoustic solo performance, and Anuprastha and their band.
