Home Ministry formed a committee to investigate issues raised by Prem Prasad
A 6-member investigation committee has been formed under the coordination of Home Ministry Joint Secretary Narayan Prasad Rimal.
KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Home Affairs has formed a committee to investigate the issues raised by Prem Prasad Acharya of Ilam through Facebook before self-immolation.
A 6-member investigation committee has been formed under the coordination of Home Ministry Joint Secretary Narayan Prasad Rimal.
The Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, the Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supply, the Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security, the Superintendent of Police of the Nepal Police and the Deputy Director of Research of the National Investigation Department will be members of the committee.
The committee has been tasked with investigating and preparing a report on all of the issues raised by the Acharya on social media who attempted self-immolation.
A directive has been issued to submit suggestions for the work that the government should do to address the issues raised by Acharya.
The Cabinet meeting on Wednesday charged the Ministry of Home Affairs with forming a committee and conducting an investigation.
