Two held on rape charge

KATHMANDU: Two people were arrested on charge of raping a 17-year-old and a 16-year-old girl on Wednesday.

Aayush BK, 22, and Jeevan BK, 21, both of Dhorpatan Municipality-7 Bobang, are among those arrested.

The police stationed in Dhorpatan arrested them on the basis of a complaint that Aayush raped a 16-year-old girl in her house on Tuesday night and Jeevan raped a 17-year-old girl in Aayush’s house on the night of Jan 18.

The police are looking into the matter further.
