KATHMANDU: Koili Devi Chaudhary, Sudurpaschim State Deputy Speaker, has resigned from the CPN-UML.

In a press release, she stated that she has disassociated himself from all political and organizational responsibilities of her affiliated party, UML, for the duration of his tenure as Deputy Speaker.

According to the statement, he resigned from the party in order to make his role as deputy chairperson independent, fair, dignified, and dependable.

On Nov 20, Deputy Speaker Chaudhary took the oath of office.

She was elected deputy speaker with the support of UML, Maoist Center, Nagarik Unmukti Party, and RPP, all of which are power partner parties.
