Balen’s ‘arrogant’ comment on Deepakraj Giri’s status

KATHMANDU: Balen Shah, the mayor of Kathmandu, has responded to the status of film producer and actor Deepakraj Giri.

Balen has questioned Giri’s Facebook status which was in support of Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane and Mayor Balen.

‘We trusted Congress, UML, and Maoist for years, but now Rabi-Balen has come,’ Giri wrote. Let us put our faith in them for at least five years.’

Balen responded an arrogant response to this status. ‘How many people are Balen?’ he wrote. Are there more than two or three people like Balen? If so, why wait 5 years?’

Lately, Balen has been in controversy due to his comments on social media.
