Aston Villa signs Colombia striker Jhon Duran

KATHMANDU: Premier League club Aston Villa have signed striker Jhon Duran.

Aston signed striker Duran from Chicago Fire.

The 19-year-old Colombian striker was signed by Aston for £18 million.

Duran scored 8 goals in 28 games for Chicago.

He has played 3 matches for Colombia.

Under the leadership of head coach Unai Emery, Aston signed him as the second player.

A club statement read: “Aston Villa is delighted to confirm Jhon Duran has completed a permanent transfer from Chicago Fire for an undisclosed fee.”
