KATHMANDU: Shilpee Theater actors performed a street play in Maitighar on Monday to show their support for the movement calling for justice for Nirmala Kurmi, a woman from Banke who was kidnapped, held hostage, and killed.
Shilpee artists staged a short street play based on a story about violence against women in support of the third phase of protest and sit-in held by Women’s Rights Forum Banke in Maitighar Mandla since Dec 29.
Today, a large civil movement, including Shilpee Theater, demonstrated in support of the protest and sit-in at Maitighar.
