9 people arrested for involvement in murder of 2 Nepalis

KATHMANDU: Nine people have been arrested for the murder of two Nepalis following their kidnapping in India.
SP Bishwaraj Khadka informed that 4 people have been arrested in Nepal and 5 people in India.
Rohit Sah, 21, of Janakpur Sub-Metropolitan 8, and Bishnu Sah, 22, of Ward No. 13, were killed after being kidnapped. The police have not released the arrested individuals.
According to SP Khadka, there is a connection to the murdered person, and further investigation is underway.
After being abducted, two Nepalis youths were killed in India on Jan 11.
Last Monday, Bishnu’s family received a call from an Indian number demanding a Rs 5 million ransom. According to reports, the family agreed to pay Rs 2 million for his release.
The family was instructed to take the ransom to the Nepal-India border in Malangawa, Sarlahi. The family had already reported the incident to the police.
Two bodies were discovered buried in Sitamarhi, India, said police.
