KATHMANDU: Indira Rana, the RSP’s Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR), has resigned.

She issued a press release stating that he will be removed from the party’s political and organizational responsibilities as long as he is in office.

In a statement, Rana mentioned that the role of the Deputy Speaker has been separated from the responsibility of the party to make it independent, fair, dignified and reliable.

“In order to make the role of the Deputy Speaker independent, fair, dignified and reliable, I declare that I am separated from all political and organizational responsibilities of the affiliated RSP as long as I remain in this position,” she said.
