KATHMANDU: Kamal KC, a Yeti Airlines senior trainer pilot, was cremated in Pashupati.

A plane of Yeti Airlines flying from Kathmandu to Pokhara on Sunday had an accident while landing near Pokhara airport. 72 people including crew members were on board in the crash.

Everyone on board died.

KC, born on 2019 Kartik 4 in Kaski’s Rupa Rural Municipality-1 Phalangkot, had been flying ships for 32 years.

He had returned from Texas, USA, after completing the pilot course, and had been flying in Nepali skies continuously since 2046.

Pilot KC had spent some time in India. KC also performed a demonstration flight at Pokhara International Airport. He also worked as a pilot instructor.
