KATHMANDU: Sagar Dhakal, who lost to Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba in the House of Representatives elections in Dadeldhura, has stated that he will serve as the opposition from Baneshwor as the parliament lacks opposition.
Dhakal posted a video on social media with Parliament House Baneshwar in the background on Wednesday, expressing his thoughts on cabinet expansion and other issues.
Despite the fact that 90% of the current cabinet members are over the age of 50, they have stated that 10% will be given new assignments. After mentioning that Rabi Lamichhane was given the benefit of the doubt, he stated that Rajendra Lingden should not be the energy minister.
He stated that this government is causing the Nepali people to suffer. ’10 drops in 100 drops of water does not purify; instead, it causes diarrhoea. This is the government that will make Nepalis sick,’ he added. ‘My government is not concerned with who will be ministers and prime ministers; it is concerned with whether the country will be transformed in the next 20 years or not. I didn’t notice that.’
