Mother & son of Kanchanpur among 68 passengers killed in tragic Nepal plane crash

KATHMANDU: A mother and son from Kanchpur were also killed in the plane crash on Sunday morning. Kanchanpur businessman Sanjiv Chandra Bhatta’s wife and son were among those passengers killed in the crash.

Businessman Bhatta’s wife Sushma Pandey Bhatta and younger son Slak Bhatta were among those involved in the crash.

Mother and son had flown to Pokhara on the plane of Yeti Airlines for sightseeing on Sunday.

Businessman Bhatta went to Kathmandu from Mahendranagar on Dec 20. He has two daughters and two sons. The younger son was killed in a crash. He was studying in 11th grade at St. Xavier’s College in Kathmandu.

Bhatta has Pashupati Emporium in the Mahendranagar market.
