Dr. Shrestha’s couple went home to celebrate holidays

POKHARA: Two doctors died in the plane crash of Yeti Airlines in Pokhara.

Dr. Sushil Shrestha, 38, and his wife, Dr. Sona Diwarak, both of whom worked at the National Trauma Center, were killed in a plane crash.

Their 10-month-old son died as well.

Shrestha is a spinal and orthopedic surgeon. He’d been at the trauma center for six years.

The plane had 68 passengers including 11 foreign nationals and 3 children. Of which 41 are women and 27 are men.
