State 1: Maoist’s two ministers & one of UML added

KATHMANDU: Three new ministers have been appointed to the State 1 government.

Chief Minister Hikmat Kumar Karki expanded his cabinet by adding two Maoist Center ministers and one CPN-UML minister.

Jeevan Acharya and Durga Chapagai of the Maoist Center and Buddhikumar Rajbhandari from CPN-UML have been appointed as ministers. Their ministry is not specified. Previously, Chief Minister Karki formed a four-member cabinet.

Chief Minister Karki is preparing to take a vote of confidence in the State Assembly today. A state assembly meeting has been scheduled for 1 p.m. to discuss this.
