Van driver killed in truck collision
A pick-up van No. 4 Ch 9631 and truck No. 5 Ch 9715 traveling in the opposite direction collided head-on in a forest in Sunwal Municipality-4 along the East-West Highway.
KATHMANDU: A road accident in Sunwal, West Nawalparasi, killed one person and injured another.

The driver of the pick-up van, 52-year-old Rajkumar BK of Chitwan Bharatpur Metropolitan City 14 Shivnagar, died, according to DSP Bhojraj Pandey, Information Officer of District Police Office Nawalparasi. BK was taken to Prithvichandra Hospital Parasi for treatment after being injured in the accident.
He died during treatment, according to the police.
Shiva Shrestha of Shivnagar, Bharatpur Metropolitan City-14, is being treated at Devdah Medical College in Rupandehi after being injured in the accident.
