KATHMANDU: Saroj Kumar Yadav, the newly appointed Chief Minister of Madhesh State, will be sworn in at the State Chief’s Office at 12:00 p.m. today.

Yadav, the leader of the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP), was appointed Chief Minister on Wednesday.

Yadav has the support of 63 lawmakers from seven political parties and two independent lawmakers in the State Assembly, out of the State Assembly’s ten political parties.

The parliamentarian party leader of the Janamat Party, the state’s ruling alliance party, stated that a meeting of the ruling alliance is also planned to discuss issues such as power sharing and others.
