Three dies in highway accident
Locals blocked the highway for about 3 hours in the middle of the night due to the incident.

KATHMANDU: Three people were killed when a vehicle struck a scooter with the license plate Na 39 P 1439 around 10 p.m. on Thursday night on the East-West Highway near Manhari Rural Municipality-9 Bhaladami Chowk in Makwanpur.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police and Spokesman Tek Bahadur Karki of District Police Office Hetauda, 32-year-old Dharmaraj Moktan of Manhari Rural Municipality-8, Milan Moktan and Rupesh Tamang of Raksirang Rural Municipality-3 who were on scooter died.
According to him, the vehicle involved in the collision has yet to be identified.
