Six wounded in Paris train station stabbing attack

KATHMANDU: Authorities in France say a knife-wielding attacker injured six people at a busy Paris train station on Wednesday morning.

After being taken to a hospital, the attacker was “between life and death,” according to Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin.

The attack occurred at the Gare du Nord station, one of Europe’s busiest.

The motive for the attack is unknown, and authorities have launched a criminal investigation.
